Setting up your collection sequence

Subscript can help you get paid faster, more consistently, and without manual intervention! In addition to automation, Subscript will help you collaboratively dun by getting help from the account executives and customer success reps on any given deal.

Here’s how:

Reminder options: how automated you want them to be?

Here, you see a few options

Editing a collection email

For any collection email, you can click the edit icon on the right, to see this screen.

You can pick what date the reminder is set to send - before or after the due date. It can be helpful to remind customers close to the due date their invoice is coming due!

For email subjects and body, you can use the dynamic fields at the bottom to customize the email content.

Finally, recipients can be the recipients of the original invoice, or any Account executives you have set on your Transaction metadata to get help with collaborative dunning!

Account Executive in reminders

To add the corresponding Account Executive in specific reminders, you can add them to your templates as the screenshot above.

Where this information comes from?

This is set under the transaction Salesperson Email metadata. If you have a CRM connected to Subscript, we’ll bring this information by default from the Deal or Opportunity Owner.

This setting can be customized to pull from a different place (eg., to use the Company Owner Email instead, or a different email entirely that is in your CRM). Please contact our team to set this custom configuration for you, if that sounds appealing.

If you don’t have a CRM connected to Subscript that could be feeding this data into Subscript, you can update this in bulk for multiple transactions at once using the CSV transactions upload. See How to add metadata to already existing transactions or customers to learn more.
