What does this Add Filter button and Add Segment button do?

Subscript's reports offer a powerful feature: the ability to filter and segment data right at the top. This lets you delve deeper into your analysis, enabling a detailed examination based on a multitude of data points.

You can think of it as slicing and dicing your data to reveal interesting patterns and insights. For instance, you might want to segment your data by geography to understand regional trends. Alternatively, you might find it useful to filter data based on customer tier to discern patterns in revenue changes month-over-month.

Where does this data come from?

All of this detailed analysis is sourced directly from your data source (CRM, .csv upload, etc.). This means you're working with the most granular and accurate data available to Subscript. This ability to work with fine-grained data allows for very precise and comprehensive breakdowns, enriching your understanding and informing your decision-making process.

We are able to insert metadata on the customer object or on the transaction (ie, deal) itself, so filtering and segmenting can help you see what you need to see in a few clicks.

Can you show me an example of how I can use filtering?
