Quickbooks supports multiple currencies, however there are a few settings and nuances that you need to be aware of.

First, you’ll need to make sure that your account is set up for multiple currencies, and you’ll add the currencies you want to enable: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/multicurrency/learn-multicurrency-quickbooks-online/L5krkKQi8_US_en_US

When you have a customer being invoiced in a different currency than your home currency, Subscript will:

  1. Let Quickbooks know the currency of the customer when creating them. Please note that a customer in Quickbooks can only be invoiced in one currency
  2. Send the currency of the invoice when creating it
  3. Send an exchange rate to quickbooks
    1. If you have the RevRec FX Rate set on the transactions of the invoice, then we will use that (assuming all transactions have it, and all have the same value)
    2. If you do not have it set, we will use the exchange rate in your exchange rate table: link
      1. We will send the FX rate to a field in QB to show you what exchange rate we used
