Think of this toggle as giving your customers a “grace period” to renew after their contract has ended. We understand there are some customers that need to take time to sign a contract with you even after the end date has passed.

In our analytics, you are able to Enable the In Flux toggle to see the metrics assuming that the customer gets a “grace period” of a certain number of months before they’re considered churned. You’ll see this option in the top of Subscript reports, and you can toggle it on or off depending on what you’d like to see:

You’ll need to determine how many months you would like to consider your customers “in flux” after their contract has ended (represented by the end date). The setting is in Settings > General Settings

This can also be configured for a specific transaction only (not for all your customers) by giving it a renewal deadline.

Renewal Deadline

This can be seen in any transaction view:

That setting is for when the deadline to renew is after the end of the contract, in cases where a customer has a grace period during which they shouldn’t contribute to churn, even though they are technically no longer in contract.

Revenue that is/was “in flux” like that can then be toggled in and out of metrics using the “in flux” button at the top of the page.
