What are dynamic fields?

Dynamic fields, also known as variable fields, are fields that change based on the data they're given. For example, a dynamic field can hold a user's name in a database to personalize greetings.

In Subscript, commonly used dynamic fields are customer name, your company name, invoice number, invoice amount and the service period.

You also have customer and transaction metadata fields as dynamic fields available to use in your invoices.
